senior in college. Our first date was at The National Gallery of Art, and it turned into an all-day adventure that neither of us wanted to end. 
 
We had chick-fil-a lunch dates in Tenleytown, explored more museums, shared our favorite books, quarantined together, and watched hundreds and hundreds of movies (yes, Brady has logged them all on Letterboxd tagged "with Tess"). 
 
In 2022, we decided to make a radical change and move to Rhode Island. During our last week in DC, we went back to The National Gallery of Art where we had our first date and picked out a print that now hangs in our home in Providence. 
 
Together, we have slowly built a home filled with our favorite art, blu-ray films (we love hosting movie night with friends), and books on nearly every available surface. We both especially love space movies. Tess' favorite movie of all time is Contact. And since childhood, Brady's biggest dream has always been to go to the moon. So naturally, one of his favorite movies is First Man. 
 
On our first anniversary in 2019, Brady gave Tess a moon necklace to carry against her heart. "A dream for my dream," he had said. And on April 8th, 2024, Brady proposed to Tess at Emerald Lake State Park in Vermont right before the total solar eclipse passed over North America. Tess said yes. 

Anyone who knows Brady and Tess knows that we both love a good story—especially a good love story. As we embark on this next chapter in our lives together, we can't wait to celebrate alongside you, the people who have helped to make our story so beautiful.
