What should I wear?
The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion in a tuxedo, suit, gown, floor-length or midi dress, or a formal jumpsuit. The bridal party will be wearing black tuxedos and gowns.

What time does the ceremony start?
The wedding mass at St. Joseph Church will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive no later than 4:15pm to have time to get settled in your seats.

How do I get to the church and reception?
We will have a Shuttle available to take guests from the church to the reception on a loop, and from the reception to The Beatrice Hotel at the end of the night. If you are driving, there is no dedicated parking lot for the church or reception venue, but there is on-street parking, including handicapped parking spaces in front of both. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in the area.
Can I take photos at the ceremony and reception?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking their own photos, especially during the wedding mass. We will have two photographers there and will be happy to share photographs once they are ready.

What time does the reception start?
The reception will begin at 5:45pm at The Providence Athenæum. While our reception will be held in the garden-level Reading Room, the Ath is open to the public until 6:00pm and we encourage guests to first enter through the main entrance (or the accessible entrance on the back left of the building) and take a few minutes to explore the library before heading down to cocktail hour.

Is the reception accessible?
The Providence Athenæum was built in 1838 and the main stone entrance stairs and stairs to the garden-level Reading Room where the reception is being held can be tricky to navigate. There is an accessible entrance at the garden level on the left side of the building. Please reach out to Tess with any concerns or accessibility needs.
Can I bring a date or my children?
The Athenæum is a tight space, so we please ask that you only arrive with those indicated on your invitation. Please also note that this is an adults-only event, and the only children in attendance will be our niece and nephews.
